One of the most delicate and worthy structures of our body is the facial surface. To make it look attractive, natural, and youthful, we take so much pressure and give too much effort. No matter within which types our skin belongs to, we practice a daily skincare routine to make it pampered. Among all the skincare rules and methods, proper cleansing is always the first thing your skin cares.
In this era of pollution, our atmosphere is filling with dirt, oil, and unnecessary particles. Throughout a whole working day, our face somehow survives with these unwanted particles, bacteria, viruses, and dead skin cells. Survive does not mean it does not get affected. To make our facial skin revived again, we need to follow a deep cleansing routine at least twice every day.
While discussing facial cleanser, we know that among a massive collection of available face washes, a few are dignified. And, among these qualified face washes, a few are righteous according to your skin type.
Every qualified face wash is not admiring your skin? Why?
A face wash frees your skin from excess oils, debris, sweat, sebum, bacteria, and dead skin cells or even from makeup. But all the cleansers labeled as ‘face wash’ are not suitable for your surface. Sometimes, deep cleansing methods imbalance your skin’s natural oil, sebum, and glow. At times, the well moisturizing capacities of your chosen face wash make your skin oilier. On the other hand, the same cleansing formula that worked for your friend clogs your pores or makes your skin sensitive. So, what to do?
To choose any skincare product, you need to know your skin first. What is your skin trying to say? If your skin becomes drier when you apply some deep cleansing method, then you have dry skin. Oily skin becomes oilier when you use cleansers with deep moisturizing capabilities. And simple chemical reaction fills your skin with rashes and allergies when you have sensitive skin. Sometimes the half part of your skin copes up well with a face wash when the other part is not. It means you have combination skin types.
Your skin type has nothing to do with your skin pattern if it is an excellent skin or a bad one. But it surely has a connection with the answer to the question ‘which face wash will suit with my skin best?’
Cleansers for oily skin
Skincare strategy becomes tricky when you have oily skin. You need to choose a face wash that removes excess dirt and oil but does not hamper the natural oil and sebum production of your skin. Two ingredients may help in this case. Aloe Vera and Tea tree oil are such mild ingredients that balance the oil and sebum production, and the internal repairing supports. The face wash you’ve chosen should not leave your skin overly dry and tight. Be aware of the products that use oil and alcohol in their formula. Cleansing your face every morning and evening keeps your skin away from all the impurities. If you have acne problems, face washes with Salicylic Acid may help. As Salicylic Acid enters into the skin deeply, grab the filth, and washes them away from the skin. Thus, your skin becomes free from excess oil and clogged pores.
Cleansers for dry skin
Dry skins tend to have clogged pores problem. When you have dry skin, your skin produces more dead skin cells than average, and those excess dead skin cells block the pores. As ingredients, your skin needs moisturizing particles. Fatty acids, petroleum, lanolin, and mineral oil may help in this case. They contain both the cleansing and moisturizing particles simultaneously. For your dry surface antibacterial soap or exfoliator with salicylic acid, glycolic acid is excessively harmful. Keep your skin safe from those ingredients, and choose something that is noncomedogenic, free from alcohol and chemicals.
Cleansers for sensitive or combination skin
Combination skins tend to become unstable. Unstable because Combination Skin contains two types of the skin within one surface. The washing solutions for oily skin patterns may harmful for your dry areas, and the moisturizing cleansers may create much oil on oilier areas. Stick towards an ultra-gentle cleansing solution. Choose a face wash that has a label on its package as ‘for combination skin’ or ‘sensitive skin.’ Sensitive skin tones become affected easily with a chemical reaction or pore-clogging. So, choose the non-soap formula. Pick a face wash that is hypoallergenic, noncomedogenic, paraben-free, and nourished with natural ingredients.
A better cleansing is the leading weapon of maintaining better skin. Without knowing your skin type, and without acknowledging the ingredients that go well with your skin, it is quite impossible. Therefore, understanding your skin before choosing a face wash is mandatory.
